Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is governed by law. The consumer-customer (i.e., a natural person who purchases goods for purposes not related to their professional activity, or who does not indicate a VAT reference in the order form) has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason.
To exercise this right, the customer must send a communication to info@MayDayStore.it within 14 days from the date of delivery of the goods.
According to legal provisions (DLGS 21/2/2014, n.21), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods for which the amount paid by the consumer is less than 50 Euros (art.47, par.2). Furthermore, the right of withdrawal excludes sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons and that have been opened after delivery, such as, for example, certain earphones and headphones (art.59, paragraph e). Software products, such as navigation maps, are also excluded (art.59, paragraph i).

After receiving our authorization, the consumer-customer must return the product at their own expense (as provided by art. 67, paragraph 3 of the Consumer Code) to:

Note: Customers who purchase with a VAT number cannot exercise the right of withdrawal.

Withdrawal Procedures

The right of withdrawal is subject to the following conditions:
The purchased item must be intact and returned in its original packaging, complete with all parts (including packaging, documentation, and any accessories). To prevent damage to the original packaging, we recommend placing it in a secondary box whenever possible; in all cases, avoid affixing labels or adhesive tape directly to the product's original packaging.
It is possible for the consumer to return a product that is not intact or has been tampered with. In such cases, MayDayStore will refund the consumer an amount minus the costs required to restore the product to its original condition.

Return of Products

Once these conditions have been verified, MayDayStore will refund the customer the full amount already paid for the product within 14 days from receiving the decision to exercise the right of withdrawal.
MayDayStore may withhold the refund until the goods have been received.
The refund will be processed through a reversal of the charged amount on the credit card or via bank transfer. In the latter case, the customer must promptly provide the bank details where the refund will be sent (IBAN code of the invoice holder).
